Construction and Engineering –Loss Adjuster |
• Site Inspection: Conduct on-site assessments to document the condition of incidents affecting structures (industrial facilities, infrastructure, residential buildings, etc.). • Investigation & Analysis: Identify root causes of incidents, analyze failure mechanisms, and quantify the extent of damages. • Cost Estimation: Review drawings; develop appropriate remediation solutions; perform quantity take-offs and estimate reasonable repair costs. • Reporting: Prepare assessment reports and coordinate with relevant stakeholders (Clients/Owners, Contractors, Insurers) throughout the claims handling process. • Work Arrangement: Approximately 90% office-based and 10% site visits (depending on case requirements). |
• Education: Bachelor’s degree (or final-year student) in an Engineering discipline (Civil Engineering, Architecture, Transportation Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, etc.). • Experience: From fresh graduates up to 5 years of relevant experience (high-potential freshers are welcome and will be trained). • Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD and Excel; able to read technical drawings and perform quantity take-offs. • Language: Ability to read and understand English technical documents is preferred (TOEIC ~500 is an advantage). • Attributes: Honest, logical thinker, curious about root-cause analysis of incidents, and willing to travel when required. |
• Compensation: VND 9–20 million/month (gross) + performance-based bonuses per case. • Guaranteed Package: Minimum of 14 months’ salary per year. |
